Great ambiance. Easy casual service. Pizza simply highlights of my dinner. Great experience. Definitely will return when I visit LA again.
Had the pleasure of visiting Pizzana for the first time yesterday evening. The ambiance is wonderful especially paired with inventive freshly fired pizza and well crafted cocktails. My partner and I shared the cacio e pepperoni and fully enjoyed every last bite. The service is warm, friendly and attentive even on a busy Saturday night. Would recommend & visit again. Cheers!
We had not been to Pizzana in a while, ever since they opened a branch in Sherman Oaks, but when we needed to find a mutually convenient place on the Westside, this was our first choice, and it was just as good as it was in 2019. Five of us enjoyed the meatballs, Brussels sprouts, and two pizzas. Each was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. Yes, Pizzana is expensive, but the quality is there.
Hands down the best pizza in the west side. Sweet sauce high quality ingredients and just an absolute pleasure. And their chocolate olive oil cake is to die for .
First time at Pizzana and already planning our next visit! We had a great time dining at the Pizzana in Brentwood, we we were seated quickly with no reservation and the service was great. We tried the cacio e pepe and the diavola pizzas and they were INCREDIBLE. Definitely recommend this place and would include it in my top dinner rotations now. CACIO E PEPE provoloncino d'agerola, fior di latte, parmigiano crema, cracked black pepper 4.7/5 Review - While a little hesitant to try this pizza, I was not disappointed with the choice. The pizza was delicious, the pepper was not overpowering, and the flavor was there! DIAVOLA spicy salami, fior di latte, charred shallot, walnut romesco, honey 5/5 Review - This was our favorite pizza of the night. Still unsure of what the walnut romesco is but assuming that it's the delicious sauce that is on this pizza. It's sweet, acidic, tomatey, but all in all, perfect. The doughs for the pizzas are all fresh and you can see them craft each pizza to order in the kitchen.
So good that we went twice in one week! It's a cute little restaurant with a nice ambiance. It's casual but feels vibey enough for a date or a dinner with friends. Service was very attentive and the food was amazing. Cesare salad (5/5) Tricolore salad (5/5): loved this salad but it had endives which I know aren't for everyone Cavoletto di Bruxelles (5/5): on the sweet side so it was great next to the tricolore Cacio Pepe pizza (4/5): such a fun pizza but I think more than one slice would have been too much Margherita pizza (5/5): one of the best I've had Funghi pizza (5/5): hands down my favorite pizza. So flavorful and well balanced between the mushrooms and carmelizes onions Diavola pizza (5/5): second fav pizza. Great mix of spicy and sweet Carnivoro (4/5): not a huge fan of meat heavy pizza but this was still great
Pizza done correctly and at a pace I can really appreciate! The staff are so kind and treat your entire party in a manner that makes you feel inclined to stay a little while longer. I recommend getting the carnivoro pizza! Packed with meat of course and also a bit of smokey spicy flavor Great for large parties! Too many pizzas to choose from! Don't forget your Lactaid!!!
I love pizzana so much!! If you're looking for high quality pizza with unique options and that's accommodating of dietary restrictions, this is it. This location is nice because it's so much larger than the other ones, and the ambiance is nice, it's casual but still vibey and romantic from the dimly lit atmosphere. Since I suffer from lactose intolerance, I'm obsessed with their vegan margherita pizza, it's probably the best vegan pizza I've ever had. Make sure to ask for the seasonings and chili oil!!
Great lunch or dinner spot! I appreciate a good pizza but I also love when appetizers outshine the carbs. I remember the broccolini dish specifically because the flavors were so good. The whipped ricotta was so creamy and the garlic and sauce over the broccolini was amazing, star of the meal for me! The funghi pizza was also delicious, perfect for any vegetarian or mushroom lover. I would come back to try more!
Pizzana is an easy restaurant to review. We ordered 3 things: Chop salad (minus the Olives): 5 of 5: Best in Class. Get it! Pepperoni Pizza 4 of 5: Very good. Brocollini: 2 of 5: Had a weird taste and was kind of hard--we both did not care for it. You may like it? I would skip it next time. Service: Excellent Atmosphere: It's comfortable, small dining room, make a reservation is best idea, not romantic, but some people around us were on first dates it seemed. They do a ton of take out I saw. Parking: Meters till 8 pm, or park a few blocks away in the neighborhood and walk back. I would come back for the chop salad. You won't find a better one at too many other places. Prices: Expensive. Everything is about $20. The commercial retail leases in this area are very expensive so prices are inflated to cover rent.
